Frustrated in his marriage and smitten with his wife's 14-year-old art student, a 30-year-old scientist freezes himself using experimental technology so he will awaken the same age as the decidedly younger object of his affections. Virgil is a brilliant scientist, but his obsession with work is taking a toll on his marriage. His wife teaches a high school art class, and the moment Virgil meets her young student Emma, he is captivated by her youthful charms. At first, Virgil struggles to reign in his taboo attraction to the young girl, but then he begins to wonder if there's a way they could really make romance work. Virgil has been developing technology that would allow human organs to be preserved indefinitely until they can be transplanted into recipients. If the technology can be used to preserve certain organs, then who's to say it can't be used to create a kind of human time capsule? By freezing himself for 15 years, Virgil could awaken the same age as Emma. Not only would he be hailed as a genius, but he'd also get to spend the rest of his life with the girl of his dreams. But trouble arises when Virgil wakes up four years too early, and is forced to watch helplessly as his elaborate plan crumbles before his very eyes. ~ Jason Buchanan, Rovi
