Catering to doomsayers everywhere, this speculative History Channel documentary contemplates the possibility that a massive tsunami might one day arrive from out of nowhere and smack the eastern seaboard of the United States, taking with it thousands of lives and wreaking a destructive potential unlike any natural catastrophe Americans have seen. The event, the program argues, could easily be triggered by a volcanic eruption on the west coast of the African continent.
