Well I must say this DVD disc 1 brought back memories. The best wrestlers of that era were ricky steamboat and randy macho man savage. Hart Foundation and Bulldogs were super tag teams. Hulk Hogan wasn't that great as he only had 2-3 moves and was kind of slow etc......

If you're looking for a nostalgic look back at one of the greatest wrestling shows of all time, this is it! It highlights all of the great matches and moments from over the years of SNME as well as the spin off show, The Main Event. This show was a huge part of WWE's success in the 80s and early 90s, and it's all highlighted on this set. Disc 3 covers mostly the FOX era and the new era when the show returned to NBC in 2006 (not the eras that the show is known for, although some very good matches took place in those eras as well). But the first 2 discs are, as written in the title of the review, simply awesome. And what makes it even better is that it's hosted by Hall of Famer Mean Gene Okerlund! He should have been asked to host the Savage DVD set as well, instead of Maria and Striker, but you can't have it all I guess.
