Well... it's really a made-for-TV movie, so it doesn't have the cinematic excellence that one might find in a theater movie. BUT, Johnny Cash acts with so much integrity and eye-to-eye seriousness, that, by golly, the viewer really starts to care about what happens to Jesse and his family. It's an honest story, told in a straightforward way; a movie that just wouldn't be made today. Try it out, the Man in Black delivers.
