The movie has a story line similar to Fame. The dancing is great, especially by Kate Parker. It's a story about will and determination and fighting for what you want. It's a great story for young teens and family.

The storyline was not realistic. She learned how to become a ballerina from watching videos as a young girl and was never trained? The dancing is entertaining but it is not in the same category as the original.

Even though I've seen the poor girl rise to fame beating all others who gotten specialized training. Yeah, I thought learning from video tapes was a little far fetched, but the acting and the storyline kept me watching.
