I rented Blues Blood, also known as If I Didn't Care, simply based on the fact that it stared Roy Scheider in one of his last roles. It is a short movie, less than 90 minutes, with a small cast. The special features consists of some cast interviews, the trailer and a strange behind the scenes feature which just detracts from the video. The picture was shot in the Hamptons and has the usual story line: poor husband of rich wife has an affair with the local real estate agent and they plot to commit the perfect murder. I enjoyed seeing Roy Scheider as the veteran police detective. The movie has some great twists and the ending came quickly and was a great surprise. I recommend this picture.
I have sat through a LOT of movies in my time, and this has GOT to be one of the most BORRRRING! Every "plot twist" was 100% predictable. The man characters have the IQ of a three year old, MAYBE! And there was a complete lack of anything original or worth while in this move. The only person I would recommend this movie to, would be to someone with insomnia!
