Harvard Beats Yale 29-29 (2008)
Member Rating:
Kevin Rafferty's documentary Harvard Beats Yale 29-29 looks at this historic 1968 matchup between those two longtime college football rivals. Many recall that year's edition of this annual grudge match as it was the first time in almost six decades that both schools were undefeated going into the game. The filmmakers utilize archival footage, and intercut it with new interview footage provided by many of those who played a part in that memorable game. ~ Perry Seibert, Rovi

I agree with everyone here. I wasn't sure in the beginning but became engrossed in the game. Also enjoyed the side stories about going to college in 1968. Well done doc. about a great college game in a turbulent year.

My husband & I waited a long time to receive this movie and thoroughly enjoyed watching it. We are both from that 'era' and feel the filmamers did an excellent job portraying 'then' and 'now.' The game was as exciting (or more so) than some professional games we watched last season!

Excellent movie. If you liked college football in any era, you'll love this movie. It's similar in many ways to the Cal-Stanford game which is now referred to as 'The Game'. Well done.
