Hypnotic, meditative... visually stunning piece of moving art. This is a briiliant modern adaptation of thought-provoking film making of the past. Kudos!

I absolutely agree with Betty S. I could not put it better. It is an amazing, original film.

The weak plot is predictable. Throughout the film, title cards come up to tell you what was just acted out, which makes me wonder if the film makers think we're idiots. There is no trust in the acting. The actors are reasonably talented, and the majority of the title cards are not required. The picture is grainy, the make-up consists of white foundation and black circles around the eyes, and the costumes look like a grade school production. There are many decent low-budget productions out there, but this is not one of them.
