I loved this DVD. It's added a whole new perspective to my local dives. > Prior to viewing "Oceans Alive-Marine Life of Catalina" I couldn't > identify more than 2 fish! How fun it is to know the name of what > you're looking at and to also know some of their habits. My dive > buddy gets an earful after every dive!!! > > >

This is definitely a DVD to be played in the background on a boat carrying tourists who intend to dive this reef and want to identify everything they see. It might also be of interest to people who keep, or would like to keep, large tropical aquariums. For everyone else it's basically a Power Point presentation, offering little more than images, names, and topical facts.
