When the film is funny, it's HILARIOUS! When it's serious it's silly, and when it's thoughtful it's pretentious. I would say check it out, but be prepared for an uneven, distorted, silly, and ultimately Woody Allen view of life.

Liked the story. It was amusing and ridiculous. Larry David's role as Boris was well cast, as the whining, inept, and needy Jewish New Yorker. The rest of the cast held this movie together and made it entertaining. I laughed, I cringed, I never gave the film another thought once it was over.
