'Holiday Affair' was a gem with Janet Leigh and Robert Mitchum, that I will want too see each year. As for 'All Mine to Give,' I understand many folks watch for this one in the TV listings, but I found the true-story weeper (written by the main character's son) hard to take as the Holidays approach, even if the film is crafted well. I just saw 'Blossoms in the Dust' and it is the downbeat story of children's crusader Edna Browning Kahly Gladney (Greer Garson) which only touches on Christmas (not a major plot point). I've yet to see 'It Happened on 5th Avenue' which may be the best of the lot and is playing "hard to get."
