A note of explanation for the unacquainted: a "gun camera" consists of a movie camera mounted on an aircraft, which documents the firing of all weapons, focused on the pilot's gun-target line. This release presents a compilation of such footage, shot between January 6 and March 24, 1944 near the tail-end of World War II. The images in question were taken from such aircrafts as P-38 Lightnings, P-51 Mustangs and P-47 Thunderbolts. ~ Nathan Southern, Rovi
