The technology was awesome. The acting was so so. The movie was ok to watch however it almost seemed that they threw a plot together just to make a part 2. Tony Stark was getting quite an ego and it took a Russian Scientist with a grudge to bring him back to reality. Good for one watch but certainly not buying the dvd. I spent the $13 bucks so you wouldn't have to. Wait to rent it.

This is a solid sequel with flaws that most sequels possess. The storyline seems forced at times and weak without developing characters, especially the villain. The acting is mixed, Downey does his usual solid performance and brings life to the character, Paltrow is completely lost, Don Cheadle had practically no role, Mickey Rourke was decent but underused and almost pointless. Scarlett Johansson also was underused but does her best with what she's given (at least some major eyecandy for the male audience), and Sam Rockwell was very entertaining but over the top at times. The special effects are amazing but not as breathtaking as the original because the cat's out of the bag and this film is simply more of the same. Overall, it is an effective and entertaining sequel but it did lose some magic from the original

A good movie, great special effects. I felt this story could have been much better.
