This is a very enjoyable film. The cinematography, music and scenery are all wonderful. Samuel L. Jackson is a good choice the narrator and the "story" is actually a bit intense in some areas. If you are taking small children, there are the normal "circle of life" scenes with animals killing animals, but it is not over the top.

Outstanding movie with beautiful scenery that will blow you away. I can't recommend this movie highly enough.

This was stunningly shot, as most of these NatGeo types are. I am an animal lover and was very exicted to see this and should have known better. This one is somewhat brutal, but that is just reflective of life on the African plain. So, my shortage of stars reflects only my own inability to deal with the brutality of reality - it doesn't reflect so much on the quality, which is outstanding.
