Personally, I thought National Geographic: Hooked-Monster Fish was just okay. What I liked about this film is the rawness and edginess of looking at fishing for sport in order to find the mother of all fish in a particular species. I also found somewhat interesting the methods and strategies of people who fish for sport with their own bare hands such as noodling in Oklahoma. The plot and development of this film are just okay as far as the narration. However, the cinematography of the film was good. Unfortunately, I would not recommend for others to watch this film. I found the film boring at times. It is up to the viewer to decide whether or not he/she would want to spend time watching this educational film show on Monster Fish.
