A group of mercenaries are forced to do battle against a malevolent force with enough power to destroy the entire universe in this sci-fi action thriller from director Mark Stirton. They were drifting through space when they were forced to abandon ship. Now trapped on a barren planet that shows no signs of life, this fearless group of warriors is about to discover that they are not alone. Something terrible is stirring on the wind-blown desert sands, something with the power to consume the souls of their fallen comrades and turn brother against brother. Should this force manage to escape into space and infect mankind, it will most certainly mean the end of the human race. As their numbers begin to dwindle and their resources run dry, the remaining survivors enter into a spectacular battle against an ancient evil. ~ Jason Buchanan, Rovi

This worthless movie belongs only in the garbage can! No plot, no acting, no camera work, no imagination, no nothing. I regret having wasted my money on this pure trash.

I got this because of the cover, it's not a blockbuster - in fact it cost about $2000. I think it had a lot of cool ideas and some not bad effects, a bit simple but it is an independent film and not a studio one. If you like seeing original stuff that George Lucas couldn't dream of, give it a go. There are no chicks in it but there are a lot of guns.

Why Blockbuster put this sad flick on the shelf is beyond me. I got tricked into renting it from the reviews on the back cover, which were probably made up lies because nobody in their right mind could ever say anything good about this horrid film. I would expect to see something like this as a student project in a film school maybe, but not eating up valuable real estate in the video store. The special effects were so bad you'd think you were watching an early 90's arcade game. I had to check the date on the box to see if it was something out of the 70s. It sucked so bad I had to come on here and warn people as a public service to help prevent bleeding eye syndrome. Seriously. If I were a millionaire I'd buy up all existing copies of this god-awful thing and melt them down to spare future generations the agony. OK, maybe billionaire.
