This DVD is most likely appropriate for children who are learning to read or those who are unable to read and don't mind sitting in front of book pages being read by a non-very-inspiring, but not completely monotone, narrator. I was, to say the least, very disappointed that this was not a movie (with book), but a book on DVD. There is no movie here and I think those thinking of renting this should know that...the title is misleading. I loved the story of Gulliver's Travels as a kid and was hoping someone might have put this to a movie, but not this version they didn't. Don't even bother unless you're ready to sit back and read along with the narrator for 240 minutes. But, again, this would be great for those just learning to read or perhaps ESL students?
