    If you are looking for a movie that just entertains you without having to think a lot, here's your flick. Carl Weathers wraps himself around the character of Action Jackson, a tough cop with a beef against Craig T. Nelson.Throw in two beautiful women, Sharon Stone and Vanity (before she turned her back on us sinners), and you have a good time. The soundtrack is pretty good, which is saying a lot because that was back when movies had actual soundtracks. Pop this in on a rainy day and enjoy!

    "Action Jackson" is unquestionably a gritty, fast-paced, altogether exciting action thriller. Carl Weathers is virile and magnetic as the title character, an absolutely independent-minded cop. Vanity and Sharon Stone are sexy and stylish as, respectively, Weathers's ally/love interest and bag guy Craig T. Nelson's wife. In sum, this film may not be Great Art, but it makes for a helluva good time.
