Synopsis of Army of the Dead

More than four centuries after Coronado's thousand-man division vanished without a trace while searching for the legendary city of gold, the long dormant curse resurfaces when an archeological expedition to the Baja peninsula awakens a skeletal army of Coronado's conquistadors. The year was 1590, and Coronado was certain he know the location of El Dorado. After dispatching a thousand men to confirm his suspicions and never hearing from them again, the Spanish explorer resigned himself to the fact that his boldest excursion was a failure. Flash forward to the present day, as a college professor and his students are exploring c network of caves in the Baja peninsula.
