This movie was beyond good. Elle Fanning, like her older sister Dakota, shines with her acting skills. The movie is about the struggle of a young girl with OCD and Turrets Syndrome. The imagery is spectacular. The movie left me feeling a strong sense of hope and it moved me beyond belief. ( i found myself tearing up quite a few times) I think everyone should see this movie. I highly recommend it!

Compassionate portrayal, from inside Phoebe and from how others viewed her perplexing behavior. Her mother's passionate efforts to heal Phoebe are as painful to see as are the child's deep frustrations with her own actions. Compelling, well crafted drama.

Incredibly entertaining, moving, and educational. I've met some of these children and this helped me to understand more what they experience. I absolutely adored Phoebe and felt so much for her character. My children have also been exposed to children with autism and Aspergers, so I wished they could watch it. However, after reviewing it, I have chosen to wait. My kids are both under 13 and I do feel this movie would not have captivated them and may have really disturbed them, emotionally, at times.
