Dark Shadows is a very interesting show. It has the aura of watching a live theater play. The story unfolds with never ending surprise & plot twists. It's addictive! Even more cool as Johny Dep & Tim Burton are creating a theatrical version with Dep playing the reluctant vampire Barnabis Collins. As theater go'es I give Dark Shadows 5 1/2 stars!!

I loved this show in the 60's and now. I missed alot of episodes. Glad to be able to catch up and refresh.

It's so fascinating to see the serial when it was strictly a gothic, with no sign of vampires and ghosts. Lots of outdoor shots of the town of "Collinsport" that the newer episodes omitted.
