In the first episode of Hunter's two-part Season Six finale, Hunter (Fred Dryer) goes after a vicious fence who is persecuting homeless war veterans. It turns out that the perpetrator, a lunatic known as "The Captain", is obsessed with medals of valor and purple hearts; unfortunately, before he can make an arrest, Hunter is ordered off the case by his police mentor Dave Peterson (Ryan Cutrona).
