This half hour long feature geared towards kids is excellent if the children in question are from five to eight years old. That's about the maximum age limit I would give. It explains conception and gestation in very cartoonish terms but is humorous in a way as it is narrated by Howie Mandel of Deal or No Deal. However, if you don't know quite how to explain where babies come from or feel awkward talking to your child about it, this is definitely the way to go.

I remember this movie. My mother sat me, my brother, and my sister down in front of it about twenty-some-odd years ago. It is definately informative. I seem to remember two cartoon cats rubbing against each other at one point and finding that amusing. It was advanced for the time. I remember also that a lawyer told my mother that she was a bad parent for showing this to her childeren. I prefer to think of it as being responsible. Childeren are becoming sexually active at younger and younger ages (unfortunately). If parents don't give them the facts, they WILL get them (often incorrectly) somewhere else. This is, at the very least, the truth.

This was a very tacky approach at presenting sex to children in my opinion. I did not find some of the humor that it contained very funny, and there was nothing that referenced any Christian values. There was nothing mentioned about "when two people love each other" anywhere in it. It talked about dad getting very tinglely and then exploding.... Not what I wanted to have my children hearing for the first time. I would rather them watch the Nature Channel and then explain it afterwards. Sorry but just not a fan.
