This is one of those movies that are so ridiculous that they are funny. This has the style and look of a poorly - made 70's B-movie. It doesn't make much sense and it is hard to follow. But there are parts in this movie that the director could not possibly have taken seriously so they must be attempts at intentional humor. If you want to see a period piece with absurd humor (watch it with Elvira to add to the absurdity) you might like this but a serious horror fan would not.

My husband and I rented this for "kitsch value" because we both love 1970's cheesy movies. This was pretty cheesy. Over the top acting and a pretty poor print made for lots of fun with this film. It's not Spielberg by ANY means but I've seen worse. This stars Dean Stockwell of Quantum Leap fame as the unfortunate assistant press secretary who becomes the lycanthrope from the title.
