My 6-year old son put together a similar kind of videography for Spongebob Squarepants. Don't set aside time to sit on the couch for this one. Put it on as you're doing household chores and just listen to it. It is visually unappealing.
While I didn't overall enjoy the pictures and video to which these interviews were set, I was thoroughly enraptured by the dialogue. I was in high school when KC committed suicide, and Nirvana was a huge influence in my life, and so I found myself drawn right in and hanging on everthing they talked about. I liked hearing him talk about everything from being a normal kid to sitting at home for weeks at a time. I only wish there was more actual footage of him.
This movie is basically pieces of tape recorded interviews that are put with unrelated pictures, cities, backgrounds. Very little actual visual of Kurt Cobain, Nirvana etc. Interesting interviews, but rather boring considering there isn't much visual to keep you into it. I gave it 2 stars and am a huge Nirvana fan.
