Synopsis of Bangkok Time
Crying Tigers director Santi Taepanich weaves this non-linear tale exploring the lives of those affected by urban living, and set as a jet descends for landing and flocks of birds begin their migratory flight. The characters include a shady night-market merchant, a rent boy, and the latter's pregnant girlfriend. As the endless cycle of city living weighs ever more heavily on each, it soon becomes apparent that a change of pace - perhaps a quiet escape into the country - would do them all a bit of good. ~ Jason Buchanan, All Movie Guide
