The Biggest Loser: The Workout - Power Sculpt (2007)
Member Rating:
As created by J.D. Roth, the popular NBC reality series The Biggest Loser pits severely overweight contestants against one another to determine who can lose the most weight in a set period of time - with the inherent reward of a $250,000 prize. The Biggest Loser workout videos feature exercise routines employed on the series, and devoted to the same fitness goals of fat burning and weight loss via increased strength and endurance. The Biggest Loser Workout: Power Sculpt incorporates three strength-training regimens with progressive levels of difficulty, respectively hosted by series regulars Jillian Michaels, Kim Lyons and Bob Harper. Following a basic warm-up, Level One finds Michaels leading at-home participants through a basic 20-minute strength training workout which targets every major area of the body; Level Two finds Lyons leading participants through a 10 minute workout that elevates upper and lower-body strength while vigorously working on one's core muscles; and Level Three features Harper leading participants in a weight-training routine with the added bonus of 'bootcamp' movements uniquely designed by the trainer. The program wraps with a cool-down. ~ Nathan Southern, Rovi

Absolutely loved this workout DVD! I kept it for 2 months and followed their 6 week program. I did it 5 days a week moving up in intensity every 2 weeks and by the end I was amazed at how much stronger I was and how much progress I had made. These trainers are not messing around! If you're a fan of the show and want an intense workout that will push you and kick your behind at the same time then this is for you.

I didn't like the amatuers in the video. The first instructor talked to them too much and it didn't feel professional. The two other segments with the trainers were really good though. Overall, it gives a good workout.
