I rented this thinking my mom & dad would enjoy it since it has Mickey Rooney in it. Mom is 81, Dad is 87. This is not family by any means. Once you get past all the cursing-and believe me, I am not opposed to an occassional curse word-but being a PG13 I did not expect so much, especially the GD phrase repeated in a supposedly Christmas film. I was embarressed by the sexual comments made by Grandma. Mickey Rooney's character is probably the only one that didn't curse thru his lines. Maybe if they had done this as a family reunion type movie it might have been better, but other than a Christmas tree, you would never guess this was a movie about Christmas. We have a large family and although we have some interesting moments, we never would behave this way especially around our parents!! Don't bother with this one!!

The movie was so bad, we had to turn it off. If you find a guy hunting guinea pigs for Christmas funny, perhaps this one's for you.

I may be way off on this one but I was disappointed in this movie. I assumed (and we all no what that means) that a PG13 movie, rated at 4 1/2 stars, with Micky Rooney and Gary Coleman and with a description of being family oriented would have not had the vulgar language and sexual innuendos that it did. I really didn't find it very funny and was concerned that this type of movie would be described as family entertainment. I definitely would not want to sit through it with my kids and I can not even imagine it being classed as a Christmas classic. Sorry that I rented it!
