Synopsis of Touched By an Angel: The One That Got Away

A law-school study group reunites at the wedding of one of its members, Mark Monfort (David Newsome), who is about to tie the knot with Susan Duplain (Susan Diol), a former girlfriend with whom he has just reconnected. Casting a pall over the proceedings is the negativity of Lisa Magdaleno (Tracy Nelson), who has never gotten over the plight of another student named Doug, who had killed himself after being expelled for cheating. Monica (Roma Downey) has been assigned to alleviate Lisa's pain--but first Mark must be apprised of a secret long withheld from him by the not-so-sweet Susan.
