The cast of the hit primetime drama Melrose Place reunite for his Sci-Fi Channel original film concerning a remote ski lodge that is overrun by enormous mutant spiders. Ski season is upon us, and as an ambitious team of Olympic hopefuls arrives at the Lost Mountain Ski Resort to train under a retired Olympic skier (Patrick Muldoon), it begins to look as if they may have a shot at the gold after all. The fun quickly turns to fright, however, when a scientist (Vanessa Williams) from a local government lab arrives with an ominous warning about a top-secret experiment gone horribly awry. It seems that government scientists have succeeded in creating a breed of giant spiders capable of surviving in even the most extreme climates, and somehow the aggressive arachnids have managed to escape from the lab. Now, as the snow begins to fall, the flesh-eating spiders scurry out onto the slopes for a hearty winter snack. ~ Jason Buchanan, Rovi

Ok...I really couldn't find anything to put in my Queue so I added this movie just to get an in-store exchange. Now I knew right from the start that this movie was going to be a very stupid film...but eventhough I knew...I couldn't help but hope for the best. The acting is horrible, and the CG is ameture at best. I'm an artist myself and I do alot of CG work mainly for video games, and our video game seriously has better visuals in it then this movie. Shame on the effects house that worked on this film. But I do have to agree with some of the reviews, this is a nice movie to make fun of and watch with a group of people expecting a horrible flick. So, if you want something to pass the time, or a movie to fall asleep to, or maybe to just have some noise in the background while you are doing house wrk, then this maaaaybe an ok movie. They should pay us to rent this one.

Saw this on SyFy, thank goodness I didn't pay to see it. For a movie made in 2007, the effects could have been better even in a low low budget, this is the lowest of the low. What a joke of a movie, you can almost hear the motors running in the spiders. Do not waste your time, even for free on SyFy.

A B-rated movie at best. Contained the worst Melrose stars and some of the poorest acting. Barely a rental.
