These are actually three separate short "documentaries" from the 1970s originally shot on bad, faded film stock transferred to VHS or early Betacam video that has such degraded picture and sound quality, it renders these selections almost unwatchable. The "Vienna" segment is a dizzying mess of 1960s-style zooms in and out, pans that require the viewer take Dramamine to not get sick, and a total lack of intelligent narrative. "A Summer In Austria" is only slightly better. The "Innsbruck" segment -- filmed in 1980 but still looking terribly degraded -- is the best of the three. It's the only one that's somewhat watchable. Surely there must be a better DVD on tourism in Austria out there that was produced closer to 2009.
