In order to flush out the person or persons who have attempted to steal a valuable statuette of the Hawaiian god Amakua, Magnum stage-manages a luxury cruise in which all the passenger roster consists of the principal suspects. Sure enough, murder and mayhem quickly ensue, and it soon becomes apparent that a crooked toy manufacturer is at the center of all the trouble.
