this movie was boring as it could be. got thru about half of it and it still made no sense. do not waste your time renting, it is very boring and has no plot or story.
The premise of the movie is great - amazing really. Fidel Castro ending up a Cuban "balsero" in Miami? The possibilities are endless...or so I thought until I saw the movie.
First, the movie is billed as a black-comedy but someone forgot to tell the makers that they forgot to add comedy when making the movie.
Second, there is really no point to the story. It had a beginning (sort of), but no middle, and no end. I kept expecting the story to develop, but it never did. I kept expecting something funny or dark to occur, but nothing ever did.
Do yourself a favor and skip this movie because you will never get those two hours of your life back.
after an hour i could not anymore.
an hour just to show Castro shipwrecked landing in miami barely talking but somehow internally experiencing the greatest of miami people. BORING
