Kudos for making such a memorable TV Series depicting works of Great Shoa'ra of those times. Music by Jagjit Singh was brilliant, and renderings by both Jagjit Singh and Vinod Sehgal were a treat to ears. I remember watching this series as a child (of course not understanding anything) and now when I'm myself deep into Urdu Poetry, I can cherish this series. Great to finally have it on DVD (along with another masterpiece TV show Mirza Ghalib). For those who are looking for acting, there isn't much in it for you. It is mostly portrayal of Ghazals in a musica form along with some light on the lives of the poets shown in it. Must for any Urdu Poet or poetry fan.
