"Shark" is certainly not groundbreaking TV, but it's an enjoyable, light courtroom mystery series anchored by the consistently strong performance of James Woods. It offers a mix of detective work as the prosecutors try to find evidence to nail the suspect, and some "Perry Mason" inspired courtroom theatrics with Woods as ringmaster. The stories are usually interesting, and the show's focus on "high profile" crimes allows for some storylines that are ripped from the news. Woods is terrific. His team of young prosecutors is largely forgettable, but if you're a fan of Woods or of TV courtroom theatrics, "Shark" is worth a look.
