Synopsis of Hiding Victoria

Given the choice between staying clean and getting a job or going to prison, a hardened and heavily tattooed felon goes to work for a wealthy Palm Beach septegenarian in director/co-writer Dan Chinander's tale of a most unlikely friendship. Victoria is all about attitude, and her Maori-like facial ink lets the world know that in no unconditional terms. Now forced to stand before a judge and plead for her freedom, the temperamental young rebel is forced to accept a position as a helpmate for Althea Jaffrey - an ageing woman whose elegantly refined image belies her open-minded belief system. Over the course of their time together, Victoria and Althea forge an unbreakable bond that finds the tough-as-nails twenty-something finally revealing the painful secrets of her dark past.
