Masterfully depicted, this emotionally entangling tale of love, addiction and the sad truths of musician life will take you on a bumpy ride of highs and lows. Naturally, a movie about a musician's struggles should feature great music... and this one does exactly that. Ardavan Kamkar of the Kurdish-Iranian Group "The Kamkars" delivers exceptional punch on the Santoor. In addition to recording on the soundtrack, Ardavan coached Bahram Radan (Ali) on acting the Santoor-player's part convincingly. The Soundtrack also features great vocals by Mohsen Chavoushi, an up and coming young pop singer.

My wife is Persian and enjoyed this movie very much, I am not but have had the opportunity to watch Persian movies in the past and found this movie to be what I would assume very realistic. Good Movie.
