this is an overall uplifting movie but it has some harsh parts related to the life in bad/poor neighborhoods. it relates the story of a little girl who is trapped in this environment until she finds a music teacher interested in her innate musical talent. the two of them become good allies and even though they encounter many difficulties, they are able to triumph.
