Incident at Loch Ness director Zak Penn takes the helm for this mockumentary that finds film and television star Woody Harrelson entering the Grand Championship of Poker in hopes of saving his late grandfather's popular hotel casino from a scheming real estate developer. As the wrecking ball swings ever closer, Harrelson continually ups the ante in order to take home the top prize at the world's most prestigious poker tournament. Tries very hard to be creative, but lacks the subtlty and nuance of the geat Christopher Guest parodies ("Best in Show', "A Mighty Wind", "For Your Consideration", etc.) Perhaps a bit too much slapstick type humor and characters that border on stereotypes.

How can anyone say they like this movie? It wasn't wan't funny at all and was boring. Nothing happens in it.

I'm with Kim H. on this....and frankly would really wonder about a person who thought this movie was funny in any way. It was the most heavy-handed, unfunny, "look-at-how-funny-all-these-Vegas-characters-are", stereotyping, piece of crap I've ever seen. People who don't live in Vegas and don't play poker and saw this movie....believe NOTHING that you witnessed within this "film". Complete waste of time. Should I tell you how I really felt?? :)
