Promises the highly unusual plot of a middle-aged man and a teenage girl relating as father and daughter, a wonderful change of pace from the usual teenagers falling in love, but never actually develops this relationship in any meaningful way. In fact, these two characters quickly get sidelined in favor of a teenage girl action hero and become supporting cast in their own series. There's not even as much action as you would expect from an action series. A strangely dishonest series that refuses to deliver what it promises.
