I was middle of the road, nothing too spectacular. His manic depression combined with a gallon of caffeine a day makes this entertaining and watchable. I have to say, as a native Washingtonian, I was REALLY disappointed that they didn't show him visiting the original Starbucks in Pike Place Market. Come on, it's the mother of his quest and he can fly every where else but Seattle?! Kinda lame if you ask me. It would've been nice to see him visit Starbucks Corporate headquarters too. If you are a Starbucks fan, or a coffee fan, you will find this watchable. If you have a low tolerance for eccentric, extremely obsessive, caffeine addicts, you should probably pass on this one.

Winter has visited thousands of Starbucks stores in numerous countries since 1997. At each one he takes a picture, drinks coffee, maintains diligent records, then zips off to the next store. He moves extremely fast & takes care of himself phisically, a good thing, because he looked like he was going to OD on caffeine. After numerous traffic tickets & 60 encounters with law enforcement over the years (no arrests) he wants them abolished, but doesn't say how that role should be filled. He is anti religious, says "it's a problem" that not enough people listen to NPR radio, takes pills that he doesn't identify, sleeps in his car & likes Starbucks bathrooms because they're clean & useful for quick baths & "other" activities. He'll probably be writing 2 books someday; his philosophy & Starbucking. This is a really fast moving 73 minute doc-umentary, about a unique, well read & driven guy. It is not pro & not anti Starbucks. I was entertained by the film, the commentary track & his web site
