Couldn't make it through this one, and I enjoy Indian film. Fast forward through the MANY, LONG moping scenes - these will have the opposite of the intended effect on American audiences I think. Let me know how it ended.
Pretty tired story line of mistaken identity, filmed before Bollywood developed the sophisticated storytelling they are so good at now. It reads like 1940's American moviemaking, and not in a good way. And the singing will break your wine glasses.
Movie is well made. The storyboard and acting are amazing. Makes you wonder how it all happened and gets you to expect a different theme because the song mera saaya makes it all reasonable but it is actually the other way around.
