Apparently filmed by hand on video, from the opening scene this looks an awful lot like low-budget porn, except without the actual sex. Five minutes in, the viewer is treated to a sustained sequence featuring nothing other than a grotesquely ugly dude tugging one out in the shower (pull, pull, pull...), complete with close ups of his face. At that point we decided we couldn't take any more and sent it back. (I say this not out of prudery, but out of contempt for the execution of the movie.) How this was ever committed to video, let alone stocked by Blockbuster, begs explanation.
The only salvageable things about this movie are the scenes with veteran Peruvian actor Gianfranco Brero and the nude scenes with Ms. Saba, who's got a beautifully sad face, a gorgeous body and decent acting skills. This movie looks like it was made with old handicams by someone who has barely an idea of how to direct and edit a movie that is based--to make things worse--on a can't-believe-anyone-would-act-this-crap-out kind of screenplay. The actors must have been either very generous--desperate, or high--to make this D-student movie, which doesn't even deserve to be on Youtube, let alone the electricity used to burn it on a DVD . In all fairness, though, I must say that I was surprised to learn that the director's two subsequent projects show an improvement that is noteworthy enough to say he's graduated to B class movie-making.
