When I first picked up Doctor Strange I was excited yet disappointed. I thought " Great another Marvel movie, but why did they make a movie about this unknown superhero?" About 95 minutes later I was convinced that Doctor Strange was the best animated Marvel movie since Ultimate Avengers. You'll watch as world renowned neurologist Stephen Strange over comes tragedy from the past and present to become the new Sorcerer Supreme. Story wise this movie has it all a compelling protagonist, menacing villains, strong side characters, and as with most Marvel movies an original plot. The animation fits very well with this movie. It also does a superior job of meshing traditional animation with computer animation, light years better than The Invincible Iron Man at least. I would have given this movie 5 stars if it weren' for the less than stellar ending, but over all I'm confident that die heart fans and newbies will enjoy this strange movie.

Better than the two Ult. Avengers movies and Invincible Iron Man. Well balanced as far as character/storey development and action. A far more satisfying ending compared to Inv. Iron Man. Great animation. Good voice work. Good character design/redesign. Satisfactory special features including C.G. cinematics from Marvel-Activision video games & a look at the 5th animated feature "Avengers Reborn." If you like this, check out the animated Hellboy movies.

This was by far the best Marvel animated . The story powerful and keeps you glued from beginning to end. The Blu Ray version has the DTS HD Sound for the most powerful suround sound!! A must rental for superhero fans or non superhero fans!
