Sub-par giallo with too few kills, and too much nonsense, culminating in a dopier than usual finale for films of this genre. More like a bad Nancy Drew mystery. The film does look good in widescreen on the disc, and is presented in Italian with English subtitles, though the Italian doesn't seem to sync well with the characters mouths. Michael Rennie shows up late in the movie and doesn't do very much. The only extras are a trailer and still gallery. Stick with Argento.
"Badly it Sucked"!! I'm known for watching movies to the bitter end, no matter how bad they are (mental illness? Perhaps..), but I turned this one off after about 25 minutes because even I couldn't stand it anymore. Avoid at all costs.
