Excellent fact-based drama. I knew nothing of Longford or Myra Hindley (sp). I found the movie engrossing from the start. Excellent performance by Jim Broadbent. Haunting story.

Rented this on a whim and I am so glad I did! yes, it's a little slow because it's about life...not special effects. All the acting was superb and the direction was also excellent. I had never heard of Lord Longford nor the Moors murders and it was very interesting. Samantha Morton (In America) was also fantastic and very convincing, ans was the actor who played her partner. Excellent all around!

A remarkable performance by Jim Broadbent who captured an almost identical persona of the real Lord Longford. Great acting and fascinating story.
