I liked this film. I thought there was a certain naivety and beauty in the characterization. I also found the cast composed entirely of professional musicians provided an interesting depth and contributed to its charm . I was guided to this film after hearing the song, "Falling Slowly." "Once" does a great job of evoking the human traits of kindness and compassion.
