    While Julia Roberts is always delightful, this movie is long and slow. There were high spots and some laughs (but too few). The acting is good, but the story lacks.....something. Overall, I was disappointed.

    Today, my wife and I went to see this movie, Eat. Pray. Love, at the theatre. I also found the discussion on Oprah last night, with guests of the author, Elizabeth Gilbert and the star, Julia Roberts to be interesting and intriquing. I thoroughly enjoyed the movie. I found it inspiring, and I thought the story/movie was very well done; acting was well done and the messages were well presented. Richard Jenkins' acting as a person who lost everything due to his drinking, etc, was very moving. Of course, I always enjoy any movie with Julia Roberts... I don't know if it is necessary for each of us to take such an expensive, or extensive journey to find the meaning of our lives. Most of us are on, or have been on, a spiritual journey of enlightenment, and/or search for love. I would recomend this movie to anyone who likes a story that causes you to think about your life's journey; there's no graffic violence or explosions.

    Saw this movie today. I absolutely loved it. Richard Jenkin's performance alone as "Richard from Texas" cannot help but move you. He should win an award for it as far as I'm concerned. Only criticism would be its a little long but if you connect with the subject matter of this movie you won't care.
