I enjoyed this light hearted flick. The chemistry between Peter Falk and Beverly DeAngelo is almost as facinating as that of Peter Falk and Alan Arkin, (who paired up a few years later for the hilarious original "In Laws"). The movie takes us back to the mid eighties with typical suburban homes, cars, and characters. This is the last film directed by John Cassavettes, I understand, and have read varying opinions on his feelings about the film, but that's not import. If you lived throught the seventies and eighties and enjoy Falk and Arkin, you're bound to have a good time with this one. Beverly looks stunning!

OK movie for its era. We did enjoyed it and there were good acting moments. Overall, though, it's a one-time see movie.
