As comprised of future jazz musicians Jeff Berlin, Annette Peacock, Alan Holdsworth and Bill Bruford, as well as future pop-rock star Dave Stewart (of Stewart and Gaskin fame), the cutting edge electronic rock band Bruford made only two documented public appearances and folded not long after it formed, in 1979. The home video release Bruford: BBC Rock Goes to College - Live 1979 features one of those appearances, shot on March 7, 1979 at Oxford Polytechnic in the UK.
